Dr. Ludger Meuten was born in Gelsenkirchen-Buer. After completing his law studies at the Ruhr-University Bochum, Dr. Ludger Meuten was a research assistant with the Chair for German Civil Law and Legal History at the law school of the Dresden Technical University from 1994 to 1996. After passing the second state bar examination in 1999, he began his law career at the Menold & Herrlinger law firm in Dresden and continued it later at the Luther law firm. From there, he transferred to the Battke Grünberg law firm in 2004 together with its founders Jörg-Dieter Battke and Dirk Grünberg. Since 2015, Dr. Meuten has been a partner.
Dr. Ludger Meuten is a specialised attorney for administrative law and focuses on municipal commercial law, waste disposal and environmental law, public construction law, municipal and tax law and above all, contract awarding law. Dr. Ludger Meuten is in high demand as a conference speaker, such as at the Symposium for structuring the Dresden Chamber of Trade and at the waste disposal forums jointly organized by Ernst&Young GmbH and ECONUM Unternehmensberatung GmbH.
