Dr. Daniel Schöneich studied Law at the TU Dresden from Oct 2003 to Feb 2008. During his studies, within the framework of his work at the Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Media Law (IGEWeM), he already began to specialise in intellectual property rights and copyright law (intellectual property law).
He completed his clerkship at the OLG (higher regional court) Dresden in 2010, after working in the chamber for press law at the LG (regional court) Dresden, in a major international law firm and a renowned law firm in New York, among others. Following his activities as a research assistant at the IGEWeM, he worked as an attorney responsible for the intellectual property law division in a national commercial law firm from 2010.
In November 2014, Dr. Daniel Schöneich joined the “Intellectual property rights and copyright law” team at Battke Grünberg, advising both medium-sized and large enterprises and public authorities in all matters of intellectual property law within this framework. Dr. Daniel Schöneich demonstrates his expertise in numerous lectures and specialist publications. Furthermore, he works as a lecturer for media law at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and for internet law at the TU Dresden. In 2015, he completed his doctoral thesis on “A General Part for Intellectual Property Law”.
Dr. Daniel Schöneich is a specialist attorney for intellectual property rights since July 2017.
